Tom Koch graduated in 1985 with a Diploma of Engineering in Architecture in Cologne, Germany and immigrated to Australia in 1986.
After working with various architects in Sydney he was part of the team of architects at Bligh/Jessup/Robinson, which won the Sulman price of architecture in 1992 for the development of the ‘Lake Crackenback Village’ in the snowy mountains.
In 1988 he formed his own business Pantheon Design and moved to the Northern Rivers area in 1992.
Today he specialises in the design of rammed earth buildings and he is the architect for the new ‘Nimbin Aquarius Village’ in Northern New South Wales.
The practice is committed to create individual human habitats considering the clients needs, affordability and environmental sustainability.
